Q: I’ve read some interesting buzz on your
book. Is it true what everyone is saying?
A: (laugh) depends on what they saying. If
it’s all good yes. If it’s negative then they must be talking about
another book.
Q: What do you wear when you’re
writing?
A: I have a laptop and a bed tray. So, I
work in bed and I like to work between midnight and six a.m. which
means I’m usually naked. Sometimes my flannel if it’s really cold in
the house but I can’t stand to sleep in anything.
Q: Have you ever had a naughty dream about
your characters? If so, care to share?
A: No, not really but I have masturbated
fantasizing about my characters, does that count. Oops is that being
too openly naughty. (giggle)
Q: When was the last time you got into an
argument with one of your heroes/heroines? And has anyone ever
caught you talking to them?
A: I don’t think I have ever got into an
argument with one of my characters, but they have used my head to
argue with each other. If anyone has caught me they were to gracious
or scared to point it out. But then again as a kid I saw dead people
so no one is surprise by anything I say or do.
Q: How do you guard your cave-er … office
from your family when writing?
A: I’m fortunate or unfortunate, depending
on how you look at it, to have my own private cave and the only way
to disturb me is by a phone call. If I’m deeply into a scene, they
get voice mail. But, trust me no one is awake when I work. All in
all they leave a message or can reach me after 1:00 pm when I wake
up.
Q: Have you ever been caught drooling over
your hero and/or cover?
A: No can’t say I have, at least not yet.
But I wouldn’t be embarrassed if they did. (laugh)
Q: Have you ever been so into your writing
that you've slipped up in normal day to day life?
A: When I write Historical with England
settings I hear this very proper English in my head and certain
words that are used to during the time period. Because of it I have
slipped and spoke with an English accent and I’ve used words that
aren’t known today.
Q: Have you ever taken out your frustrations
from the real world on your characters?
A: No, but I have utilize parts of my past
or my personality in my characters.
Q: If you could be any of your characters who
would it be and why?
A: Well a lot of Me is Selby in the book
Selby and Ethan. But if I had to make a choice I would like to be
Sauda in The Lord and the Scorpion. Cause she kicks butt, very
worldly and I want her man. (wink)
Q: If you could "have" any of your characters
who would it be and why?
A: I would want Lord Ethan Clare because
he is what I call an Alpha-Sensitive male. I love him for his
imperfections and his painful experience allows him to love women
that are scarred and flawed. That’s me.
Q: Have you ever been so immersed in a story,
so connected to your characters that you called your dh or so by the
name of your hero, especially during an intimate
moment?
No can’t say I have but it’s never too late.
What would be really cool is to have a significant other that
wouldn’t mind role playing the characters. Sometimes I need help
researching the sex scenes…wow, that, he would be awesome.
Admittedly, when I was married, my husband stressed me so bad I was
creatively stumped. He was an emotional vampire that kept me
completely drained all the time. If I was still married to him, I
would still be a writer dreaming to be a published
writer.
