Alabama native Shiree McCarver has always had big dreams. First it was a love for music and performing until she realized she had and even greater love. Starting when she was a child with her mother reading to her the seed of possibilities were embedded in her head and fed to the possibilities that the world was full of magical places yet to be discoverd. One of those places was her imagination.

Being an advid reader of romances the one thing she realized was that most of the heroine's of the story didn't look like her or have her skin color. Still, it didn't stop her from living the lives of the fairy princess, the swashbuckler's damsel, or the lady of the whitehouse on the hill. The time had come for Ms. McCarver to do something about it. She wanted to assure that other little girls and women didn't have to pretend to wear the shoes they actually could believe they or their ancestors were the ones living the lives of the heroines. Ms McCarver has written beautiful heart touching tales of love and made the impossible possible. No matter what your heritage is you will be able to relate to the only thing that matters in a tre romance. LOVE.

When asked what exactly is the color of love she replied, "Any color you want it to be, because no matter what race the hero and heroine is on the outside, the color of HAPPINESS looks the same. That's all we really want in this world isn't it? Just a little piece of happiness and someone to share it with."
